![]() ![]() IRS Changes Mileage Reimbursement for Medical Purposes 1/1/2009Beginning January 1, 2009, The IRS is lowering reimbursement for trips to and from health care providers from 27 cents to 24 cents per mile. If you are injured in a motor vehicle accident after January 1, please utilize the attached mileage claim form to submit to your No-Fault Insurance Carrier. It has been updated to reflect the new rates automatically, You must submit this form to your No Fault insurer within 30 days of your first trip in order to receive reimbursement.
