IRS Increases Mileage Reimbursement for Medical Purposes starting July 1, 2008
The IRS has increased reimbursement for trips to and from healthcare providers from 19 cents to 27 cents per mile starting July 1, 2008.. If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, you can utilize the attached mileage claim form, which has been updated to reflect the new rates, to submit to your No-Fault Insurance Carrier. Your carrier will be required to pay your mileage at the new rates.
